Nowadays, the population of people who
enjoys coffee everyday is increasing. As coffee can help people be sober, offer
more energy and make people feel relaxed, undoubtedly, it becomes a part of our
life. You can see café everywhere nowadays. And a normal life is going to the
café to have a cup of coffee and bread and then go to work or go to schools.
You cannot deny that people in our new society cannot live without coffee. However,
does coffee really bring us benefits as we think? My answer is negative.
First of all, as we know, coffee
contains caffeine, which acts as a stimulate drug. Medical science reports show
that caffeine may cause headache, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, depressed
mood and difficulty concentrating. Obviously, it’s not quite good for our
health. You may feel comfortable and totally relaxed when you’re drinking hot
coffee. However, the real danger is always covered by peace. You may get
serious disease because of getting too much caffeine.
Second, as coffee plays an important
role in our lives now, people will be dependent on drinking coffee. For
example, if a person fells really tired in the morning, and aims to be sober by
drinking coffee. It may make sense for this time. However, the person may
become dependent on drinking coffee to keep himself clear-minded. If he doesn’t
drink coffee in the morning, he’ll be exhausted for the whole day. As a result,
he’ll get a group of caffeine. Serious diseases may come to him sooner or
later.
Third, as coffee can keep people be
sober, it can also stop people from sleeping well. Obviously, if you drink a
lot of coffee, it’ll be difficult for you to fall asleep. Undoubtedly, if you
couldn’t sleep well at night, you’ll feel out of energy in the next day. What’s
more, you’ll drink coffee to make yourself clear-minded. It is like a vicious
circle.
Above all, caffeine in coffee is a danger for human beings. Little coffee may be helpful to our work or lives, but too much coffee could lead to negative effects on the body
